NewOct 18, 2026 · 5 chapters

An explainer film in five chapters, made from a real lecture: how WHERE filters rows and why text needs quotes, how a query calculates and sorts, how GROUP BY puts rows into bins and HAVING checks whole groups, in which order the database really reads a query, and why two tables without a condition combine every row with every row. Pause anywhere and ask.
