Thesis schedule planner
About this app
Gantt plan for the thesis project: deadline = application + 3 months, groundwork before the application, critical path and a buffer traffic light.
With explain mode: an AI tutor walks you through the app, points out what matters in the scene and answers your questions.
What the deadline depends on
The working period of a bachelor thesis starts with the application date. The submission deadline falls three months later; if that day does not exist in the target month, for example after applying on 30 November, the last day of the month applies. The date on the application form is what counts. The thesis counts as submitted with the receipt stamp of the registrar’s office. Settling topic and concept before applying gains working time without moving the deadline.
What the planner shows
A Gantt chart with seven work packages from choosing a topic to printing and submission. The deadline line follows the application date, and a zone marks the groundwork allowed before applying. The critical path is highlighted. A traffic light shows the buffer until the deadline; if the plan overruns it, a warning about the grade 5.0 appears. Milestones name the receipt stamp, exam registration and colloquium.
Try it out
Drag the application on the timeline or shift it week by week and watch deadline and buffer move. Extend the first draft at the end of its bar until the light changes. Try to squeeze proofreading and printing into one day: the app keeps a realistic minimum. Three templates compare a realistic plan, one that cuts it close and one with groundwork.
Frequently asked questions
- When do the three months of a bachelor thesis start?
- On the application date. When you start working does not affect the deadline; topic and concept may be settled before applying.
- What if the deadline day does not exist in that month?
- Then the deadline is the last day of the month, for example 28 February instead of 30 February. The date on the application form is what counts.
- How much time should I plan for proofreading and printing?
- Several days: having it proofread, working in feedback, checking the layout, plus printing and binding. On top of that a buffer of at least two weeks.
- What does the thesis schedule planner show?
- A draggable Gantt plan with application, deadline, seven work packages, critical path and buffer traffic light, in German and English, with a guided demo.
